2017-2018 Executive Board Members

Below you will find the contact information for each of our Executive Board Members followed by a brief description of each position.
These descriptions are not intended to be inclusive.

Laura Flinders

President: The primary role is to oversee all functions of the Executive Board. This will be done in part by presiding at Board and Booster Meetings and enforcing a due observance of the By-Laws and parliamentary authority adopted. Shall delegate responsibilities to the appropriate executive committee member. The President will serve on the committee to prepare the budget for the following fiscal year and will work in connection with the Treasurer to ensure the current budget is being adhered to. Serves as the main liaison between the Band Director and the rest of the Executive Board Members.

Ann-Marie Bihary

Secretary: Prepares and publishes the minutes for all Executive Board meetings and all General meetings. Shall oversee the committees of historian, alumni relations, and social media. The Secretary shall inform the Executive Committee and Parent Members on a variety of information through emails and publication of pertinent information. Shall prepare an end-of-year report to assist the incoming Secretary.

Rose Larsen

Treasurer: Assists with the collection of all donations and payments for optional items. Shall keep records of all incoming and outgoing funds. Provides a monthly financial statement to the Executive Committee, Board Members, and general membership. The Treasurer shall process checks approved by the Executive Board. Shall prepare an end-of-year report to assist the incoming Treasurer.

Amy Lock

VP of Fundraising: Responsible for developing and executing all major fundraising events for the Etiwanda HS Bands and Color Guard Programs (including MER, WG, WDL, etc). The VP of Fundraising shall oversee the Scrip coordinator.

Marilyn Martel

VP of Corporate Sponsors: Shall oversee the process of obtaining corporate sponsorships.

Susanna Lyell

VP of Hospitality: Shall oversee committees created for the purpose of serving at band camp, special events (Senior Pinning, Banquet), concessions, concerts, and food support. Shall work with the VP of Programs for additional support.

Shelly Lefebvre

VP of Clothing: Shall oversee uniforms (MER, WG, and WDL), required clothing and Spirit Wear. This includes all alterations, communications, ordering, and cleaning of uniforms.

Stephen Bryan

VP of Logistics: Primary role involves facilitating and planning for the movement of the Band, Drumline, Color Guard and Spring Bands. Scheduling and dealing with truck rentals and seeking individuals to drive those rented trucks as well as to find volunteers to use their own trucks to pull Eagle 2. Plans, books and arranges to tender payment for all aspects of overnight trips for all the various groups by researching and communicating with the various leaders choices that are available to the group during that planned travel. Heads the Tour Team that aides in decisions to effectively and appropriately follow prior protocol and appropriateness for the planned trip. Works closely with the VP of Chaperones to ensure that Chaperone/Student needs are met. Also works closely with the Treasurer as tour dates approach to ensure that all payments for all traveling students have been remitted/paid. Schedules and heads mandatory trip meetings and plans for the appropriate paperwork to be provided and gathered at those meetings. Ensures that all overnight trips stay on target and most critically within budget.

Brady Lock

VP of Operations: Shall oversee the bus/transportation arrangements, trip planning, travel arrangements for overnight trips, and prop building. Responsibilities also include overseeing the maintenance and repairs of all equipment used for practices, performances, and travel.

Michelle McMahon

VP of Chaperons: Responsible for scheduling parent chaperon volunteers. Shall ensure all necessary supplies (medical kit, spare clothing, etc) are included when travel is necessary. While away at an event, shall be the main liaison between the parent volunteers and the band director.

Diana Herrera

VP of Color Guard: Shall serve as liaison between color guard and the executive booster board to ensure the success of the program.
