ABOUT PERCUSSION
Percussion at Etiwanda High School is a year-round activity. In the fall, they compete as a part of the Marching Eagle Regiment and then move to indoor competition as a separate competitive program during the winter.
The percussion ensemble at Etiwanda High School has quickly risen to one of the top scholastic percussion programs in Southern California since 2010. In 2016 they were the SCPA Percussion Scholastic Open Class champions. In 2017 they moved to Percussion Scholastic World Class, placing 6th in their debute at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH. Etiwanda High School percussion was the bronze medalist at the 2018 SCPA Finals. In 2019 they placed 7th at the WGI World Championships. Beyond their recent accolades, the program has medaled in every scholastic division for marching and concert since 2011.

Since 2018, Etiwanda High School has been fortunate to be able to offer a Junior Percussion Program. Students from Etiwanda Intermediate, Summit Intermediate, and Heritage Intermediate meet once a week throughout the school year to learn and grow the skills necessary to become a successfully competitive percussion ensemble.
