Event Details

• When: Friday, September, 9, 2016
• Start Time: Tailgate BBQ begins at 5:00pm with a transition into the football stadium at 6:30pm.
• Where: Etiwanda High School, Concrete area just north of the stadium.

This will be a true tailgate, so bring your lawn chairs, canopies, and coolers (no alcohol and no personal cooking allowed). The event is also being used as a fundraiser for the Etiwanda Bands and Color Guard Program. BBQ meals are available for purchase by following the link found under "Tickets and Registration" located on this page. You will have the option of buying Food-Only tickets ($5-$10) or Food/Football Game Combo tickets ($10-$15).

The Combo tickets will gain you entry into the stadium for the football game and reserved seating in the alumni section of the stadium next to the current MER. Here you will be able to join the band in playing pep songs (see below) throughout the game.

Food-Only tickets will only provide the BBQ meal, with no access to the stadium. However, the game can be watched from the concrete area.

The BBQ meal will consist of an entrée, side(s), and a drink. There will be an Opportunity Drawing for some fabulous prizes as well as Eagle 1 (MER trailer) on display for everyone to see and walk through. Old uniforms will even be on display so you can reminisce what is was like when it was time to take the field. MER Spirit gear will also be on sale.

We invite our alumni to bring their instruments and participate in joining the MER for some pep songs during the football game. Links to the pep music is listed below.. During the tailgate portion of the event, MER members will join the alumni on the concrete area to run through the songs. We don't expect anyone to sound perfect. Just come prepared as best you can and have some fun! Your friends and family will love seeing you play your instrument. Alumni will sit in a reserved section next to the MER in the stadium. So start practicing now..."Band, ten hut!"

There are 2 options for registration and ticket purchase for this event:

Option 1 - Register and purchase tickets online (easiest and quickest method)

To register your attendance and to purchase tickets online please follow the link below. This will take you to a short online form to complete.

When paying for your tickets you have 2 options. If you chose to pay by PayPal then return to this page once you complete the registration form and click the "Pay for tickets now" button below.

Within 36 hours of completing the online registration form you will receive an email confirmation. If you chose to pay by check or money order please print out a copy of your confirmation and mail it along with your payment to: Etiwanda Bands and Color Guard, PO Box 327, Etiwanda, CA 91739.

On the day of the event, bring a copy of your confirmation to the registration booth that will be located just north of the stadium in a large concrete area. We will have a name tag for you.
